1. Intercede - To plead on another's behalf.

2. Hackneyed - Overfamiliar through overuse; trite.

3. Approbation - An expression of warm approval; praise.

4. Innuendo - An indirect or subtle, usually derogatory implication in expression; an insinuation.

5. Coalition - An alliance, especially a temporary one, of people, factions, parties, or nations.

6. Elicir - To bring or draw out (something latent); educe.

7. Hiatus - a break or interruption in the continuity of a work, series, action, etc.

8. Assauge - to make milder or less severe; relieve;

9. Decadence - unrestrained or excessive self-indulgence.

10. Expostulate - To reason earnestly with someone in an effort to dissuade or correct.

11. Simulate - To have or take on the appearance, sound, or character of; imitate.

12. Jaded - Cynically or pretentiously callous.

13. Umbrage - Offense or resentment

14. Perogative - A right or privilege exclusive to a particular individual or class.

15. Lurid - Very vivid in color, esp. so as to create an unpleasantly harsh or unnatural effect

16. Transcend - to rise above or go beyond; overpass; exceed

17. Previncial - one living in or coming from a province.

18. Petulant - Childishly sulky or bad-tempered.

19. Unctous - characterized by excessive piousness or moralistic fervor, especially in an affected
manner.

20. Meritorious - Deserving reward or praise; having merit.

What made him so bored of his everyday routine?
Why did he continue to slowly lose faith throughout the story?
If he had thoughts of it being his mother why was he so afraid?
